"When my youngest son started his art exams at school it made me realise how much I missed painting. I had not done any since leaving school and so I began taking an interest again. I had very good tuition from Nottingham artists Sue Sareen where my passion for colour began.
I belong to both the Nottingham Society of Artists and also the Arnold Art Society and regularly exhibit at the Gallery in Friar Lane, Nottingham. I also take part in various exhibitions around Nottingham.
I paint mainly in inks and watercolour and love to experiment with vibrant colours and textures to create atmosphere."
