"I was born in Mansfield where I now live although I moved to London to work at the age of 23. Subsequently I lived in Brussels where I spent most of my adult life.
After obtaining a degree in English I went on to teach, but also pursued my first love; art. I obtained diplomas at the Ecole des Arts Plastiques et Visuels, studying ceramics and sculpture. I currently attend Christine Smith’s art class in Lambley, painting in acrylics and oils.
I am also a self-taught encaustic artist and produce semi-abstract landscapes in hot wax, which I believe reflect the rolling aspects of the English landscape."
