"I was born and raised in Doncaster and received training in Art and Design in South Yorkshire and the North East.
After moving to Nottingham I began my career in Teaching. I have worked in Art with secondary pupils for 25 years, latterly as Head of the Art Department in a large inner city school.
After taking early retirement, I have found time to explore and become absorbed in a number of projects and mediums, some involving textiles which I think have greatly influenced the way I view the natural world and the way I interpret colour and form in my paintings."
