"New York"
This photograph was taken in Times Square, New York, on 4th June 2004. As I took out my camera to capture the busy scene, several yellow cabs swept down the street. Then seconds before I took the photograph , a mounted policeman suddenly appeared. New York somehow has the ability to make one feel one is an extra in a film.
"Nottingham Council House"
The evening of 26th July 2006 was dark and wet. As I walked down King Street at 8.25 pm some street-lights were on. The low sun briefly broke through the storm clouds, illuminating the tops of buildings. I had my camera, and caught the mood with this view of Nottingham’s Council House dome.
